The Let's Go Camping project was launched in 2023 by Mia and Ally, two seasoned campers and Senior Girl Scouts from Troop 50220, along with their adventurous troop leaders, Jen Armstrong and Dana Bauer. They created the project to share their passion for tent camping with younger Girl Scouts. In May 2023, a dozen Juniors and Cadettes participated in the first Let's Go Camping workshop and overnight camping trip. In May 2024,  20 campers in grades 3 through 6 went camping with Mia, Ally, and Anabella, another Senior Girl Scout from Troop 50220, who joined the project to help lead the trip.
